7 Months- Ridge Mason

You finally rolled over this month!  First time was at Gigis (6-21-18).  You still haven't rolled over but a few times.
You found your tongue.
You have 2 teeth
You like sitting up playing with your toys.
You notice every little detail in fabric, walls, etc.
You have been waking up in the middle of the night and coming to lay with me.  You then sleep until 7am or after.
You recently started making you lips like a fish & crying when we take something away from you.
You are wearing 24 month cloths
You normally take 4 8oz bottles daily.
You have started eating a little baby food in the evenings.  You are not a fan!
You have tried - sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans, apples, pumpkin w banana.
You love chewing on ice, raw carrots and cucumbers.

6 Months - Ridge Mason

25 lbs 7 oz
28 1/4 inches long

Size 18 month clothes & Size 3 diapers


You love to scream & talk!
You have started to grab at everything.
You will not use a sippy cup but you love to drink out a water bottle.
You hate your mouth & nose wiped and still hate changing clothes!
You love books & love your bubby!!!  You have the biggest smile when you see him.
You didn't cry when your feet touched the grass for the first time.
I believe you have allergies.
You are  might be a thumb sucker.  If you have a blanket, you take that and your thumb together in your mouth.
You are sitting up but still haven't rolled over yet.

You eat about every 4 hours - 8 oz bottle. We will start food now!

You sleep from about 8 p.m. - 6 a.m. every night.  I love the weekends because after I feed you your morning bottle you will almost always go back to sleep for at least an hour.  I love that time with you on the couch!!!!

Mother's Day

Today Momaw joined us for church.  I was so happy she did.  After church we went to Ruby Tuesday's and Cold Stone Creamery at Pullman Square.  Lincoln surprised me with a nice card and a pineapple cup.  Mike said my present would be here tomorrow.  Mom & Daddy are enjoying a week at Myrtle Beach.  We didn't take any pictures today together. I am so bummed about it.

New River Gorge

Today was a beautiful day.  We went to Fayetteville with Mike's family.  Kaye's ashes were spread beautifully along a hill side. We enjoyed dinner at Secret Sandwich with Josh & Tiffany.  Ridge done so good the whole day except when we got back home.  I'm thinking he has very bad allergies. His eyes were red and he could barely breath once he went to sleep.  Josh and Tiffany came over and we enjoyed a nice evening on the patio for the first time.  We even had some company with a snake!  Our neighbor James came over and captured it! Ha!

Finally Friday

Picked Lincoln up from school today and he had made a sweet Mother's Day tile at school.  Then we stopped and had some gelato.  He had told me that morning that he wished he could have taken me to Rock City for Mother's Day.

Just moved to Size 3 Diapers
You basically skipped 9 months clothes and can wear 12 months
You noticed the cat this month
You are laughing so much more!  Still the happiest baby ever!!
4/30 - started grabbing feet
Every morning when I get you out of the crib you are so happy and playing with your feet!

5/7 you might have said Mama at Mimi's house while she was watching you.
You smile at your Bubby all the time!  You just love him.

I started thickening your formula more with oatmeal because you were becoming a fountain of spit up!  It seems to be helping so far.

You haven't had any real food yet except a bite of mashed potatoes which you loves, avocado (you hated) & Mimi let you suck on a green bean!

Lincoln turns 9!
